- Since this is a unix based web hosting, file names are case-sensitive. FILE.HTML and file.html will be treated as two different file names. Please use small case for file names to keep consistency across your site files.
- The first file that is by default loaded from any folder or home page, can be from the following names: index.html index.php index.htm default.htm default.php default.html
- The root folder to upload your website is public_html
- Always keep strong passwords with alpha-numeric and UPPER lower case mix characters. Do not share your password with anyone. Passwords should never be dictionary words as they can be easily cracked.
- Email: We recommend using POP3 over SSL/TLS or IMAP over SSL/TLS since they provide increased security for your interactions with the remote mail server. Be sure to enable SMTP authentication to use it.
